Grumble is in early development. This page explains exactly what we collect, where it is kept and who else touches it. Last updated 28 August 2026.
What we collect
Your email address, if you give it to us. If you complete the quiz, we may note your answers alongside it, along with which advert or link brought you here. If you reserve a Grumble, we also hold your name, delivery address and a record of what you paid.
Where it is stored
Sign-ups and quiz answers are stored in our own database on Amazon Web Services, in their London region. Amazon acts as our data processor and does not use your data for its own purposes.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach us — we can see that a payment happened and the last four digits, nothing more. Stripe stores your card securely so the £250 balance can be taken later, as described in our reservation terms. See Stripe’s own privacy policy for how they handle it.
We send Founding 50 updates ourselves. If we later move our mailing list to a provider such as Mailchimp, we will name them here before any address is transferred.
Why we collect it
To send you updates on Grumble’s development, to fulfil reservations, and to understand how much interest this idea has at an early, pre-launch stage. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Reservation and payment records: for as long as we are legally required to keep financial records, currently six years.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email mark@grumblehealth.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
